"SERVICE" on dash. What to do?

Guess the header line says it all...

I'm at 9300 miles. I admit, it's time for the valve check. But what all needs to be done, service-wise, when that little warning pops up on the dash?

Sorry -- don't have the manual to check, so I'm asking the knowledgeable cats here!

Oil Change, valve check, nuts/bolts all over and fluids, check brakes etc.....

The manual is available on line. Bottom line, the big ones are the oil and Valves

With Aprilia being based in Italy, the Pope had a word with them and asked them to get the display to show SERVICE every so often to remind you that you should go to church.

    At least I think that's what it's for ......

Yeah, I figured it was a mileage thing. I'm assuming it probably came on at a more round number in kilometers.

I've been meaning to do the valves, and I've kept on top of the oil/filter changes. So when the next oil change comes around (less than 1K), I'll probably just get the service done.

Anybody in LA know if Pro Italia in Glendale still works on Aprilias? I'm believe they've stopped selling them, but I hope they're still servicing 'em...

    Time to trade it in.
For my money it doesn't get any better than when he sings, "When a man loves a woman". I celebrate his entire catalog.

Yup, 7,500km. To reset the message, you need to press and hold the lap/pass button and press the reset (R) button at the same time for a few seconds.

while doing a double backflip whith your right eye closed. And you cannot insult disabled Chineese people for 12 hours afterwards 'cos it'll come on again.

That is what genuine Aprilia Service Manual sais.
