Do you think it will fit in the post piece by piece to Canada?

bandeedo, I see a KTM 950 SE in my future.

arl, search this forum and you will find many post about the imfamous brown connectors. They are the cause of many of the Capo's electrical problems. One is found near the recifier and the other is found in the "V" of the engine and is the alternator output.

PS Bike is still for sale.

I'm already on my second KTM 640 Adventure so it's not really a switch. Although the Capo always impresses me at how capable it is off road, I want something a bit lighter and easier to pick up!!

So, please keep your ears open for anyone 'round our neck of the woods who might be interested and point them towards me. It's a good 'un so I'm not giving it away but I'm open to offers.

Agreed! I got SO MANY low ball offers when my Capo was in the classifieds. Truly crazy. Have you tried ADVrider.com? I'd imagine that crowd would be drooling over the Rally raid!

Why couldn't you have let me know about this a month ago?

As overjoyed as I am with my lovely new Capo (first post - hi guys) your Raid would've been that little bit more to drool over.

What's with the screen mod for better airflow?

And whats with the Touratech Gear lever? I didn't think TT made these for the Capo!

The theory ( as I understand it) for the screen is that air travelling up the inside of the screen meets the air travelling over the screen and deflects it higher over your head.

TT gear lever is here http://www.touratech.de/shop_uk/enter.html select "Enduro", then "Aprilia Caponord", then "Accessories".

Can you post some pics of the screen showing cut out. Apologies if you have already posted info about the mod

Marcus, I started with it this size

But then went a bit bigger, you can see it here on the right compared to my friends standard bike.

Don't know if it's taller but it is a different shape.
