Personally, I would like to see them lose the width of the fuel tank and the plastic under fairing to the sides, but........having put nearly 40,000k's on one and with the addition of the Sport1200 fairing, I can vouch for the effectiveness of the design as it stands. I just look at my Mark III and it looks tiny compared to the current crop when in principle, it's running the same engine.

I'd like to get the 1200 Sport fairing for short fun runs...but seems like fairings are fairly expensive to be had..(in any size!)

Can't tour on a Griso! Oh no! No luggage capacity. Fuel tank's too small. Cant ride it hard either, it's not a 'sports' bike. so it's got to be a shitter eh?

You can tour lightweight! (My now, sadly, likely dead, Griso Pinko in the USA [sob!] It's a long story.)

And your boots don't end up looking like this if you only ride to the shops for a pint of milk in the morning

Incidentally that boot was the result of a period when I had, by mistake, got a stupid 190 section tyre on the back. Now I'm back to a *sensible* 180. I'm finding I've reverted to getting through a set of Redbacks every set of tyres. Makes it a bit pricey. Perhaps I should ride the Mana more?

Mr. Pete, what happened to the Griso Pinko in Seattle? I saw it at the "Isle of Vashon" event a few weeks ago. Terminal?

BTW, the day before the event, I picked up an '08 1200 Sport from Dave at Moto. It's really a neat bike. Got some funky coolness going on, nice torque, very comfortable and with that large tank has a great range, and actually handles quite nicely....

I left the Griso Pinko in seattle with instructions that it could be lent to anyone who wasn't a retard, I trust Greg's discretion. A visiting Aussie took it downtown with some mates to a pizza joint and while they were scoffing their pizza a bloke on a ZX10 'Launched' from somewhere up the street. A car pulled out in front of him and he apparently glanced off it and separated from the ZX which then cartwheeled down the street before impacting Pinko and pushing it several yards up the street into two parked Harleys.

The good news is that if Pinko hadn't taken the blow people on the sidewalk would of been killed so every cloud has a silver lining. I'm just hoping the idiot on the ZX is insured as although I have comprehensive cover I don't want to loose my deductibles to repair a machine involved in a crash not of my making. Greg has the police report #, we'll just fling it into Progressives hands and let their attack dogs go the ZX rider.

Dunno if you're familiar with the name but Griso was a bodyguard in an Italian novel? He did his job admirably that night!!!! .

Ahhh, too bad about the Griso. Freak thing, but if it saved some folks in the process it left us admirably. Bikes can be replaced...

Dunno yet. Greg's got a lot on his plate right now so I don't expect a diagnosis on it soon.

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a mans character, give him power.

Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional minority, then promoted by mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

That looks Very Good in Black Mr. Z.
Now I can get a Griso and the Bags that Pete has; add a backrest to the seat and that will make both Me and the Mrs Happy.
Both of us? At the same time? Zoingies Scooby!
