    Euro only

OOOOOH............I want those clear lenses, it gives the bike a VERY different (much better IMO) look. Are the clear tail light & front turn signal lenses readily available on the other side of the Big Pond?

    Congrats as well, Tuono Ben.

That thing just screams BAD BOY...............it's definately a bare-knuckled, no frills, streetfighter kinda bike.

Don't think much of the side reflecters.

Why do they want to put Xmas decorations on everything, hell, we haven't done Easter yet

    The Lineup

Ed, that harkens back to the Porsche 917 homologation in 1969!

    Most impressive.

Finally! Received my Tuono on Weds.
I am impressed. Compact, smooth, aggressive and drop dead gorgeous!
This bike turns heads. Let the upgrades begin.

    Apriliaaaaahhhhhhh......

nice bike, I got mine yesterday!, finally after 5 months, but is was all worth waiting. Great bike! Only drove it from the dealer to my place so far. Great sound, good riding position, I had a grin from ear to ear underneath my helmet. Hope the sun will come out today, already got up at 6.30, on a saturday, couldn't sleep anymore, had to go and watch it in the garage.....
    pics will follow.

I see you welcomed your bike by hanging out the flag for it

    New Tuono in Phoenix

I picked this bike up Tuesday after paying for it Thursday and waiting for it to be broke in on the dyno.
Swapped out the 16T cog for the 15, the second day I had it. Much better around town!

Today I cleaned up the plate holder, (no pics yet). I'm considering doing the PCIII to see if I can fatten up the low end between 3,000 & 4000 RPM. I'm still getting use to the fast, inconsistant idle speed. I scared myself accelerating onto the highway tonight shifting from 2nd to 3rd at 8,000 RPMs. GEEEZZZZ!

Dale, a few questions for you:

What cans are those? They don't look like the ones that came on mine, so I'm assuming they're aftermarket.

Did you have your dealer download the #266532 version of Aprilia's software to your ECU?

Are you running Map 2? You will need Map 2 to get into "open loop" if you decide on the PC III. (it looks like your torque dips between 4600-5800 RPM)

Did you de-restrict the airbox? (remove the restrictor plate w/the circular hole between the front of the airbox & the headstock - 2 screws)

The reason I'd like to know how you're set up is for comparison's sake (to mine when I dyno it)...........you're making just about 120 RWHP, and a little over 73 ft. lbs. of torque - if your bike's relatively stock, those are great numbers. I haven't dynoed mine as yet, want to break it in a little first. I've got the new version software, de-restricted airbox & Evoluzione filter, Map 2, and a set of LeoVince Ti slipons......my idle is consistent at 1250 RPM.

Yours is the first dyno chart I've seen on the '07 Tuono, thanks for posting it.........it's good to have some idea of what to expect.
