they were not engineers - that's true

but looking at that bike, it has I believe ohlins forks on it, oz wheels, ohlins or sachs yellow rear shock and new indicators

some interesting decals as well - but it does look like a trade show stand

I can’t see the indicators, but everything else would be parts bin Aprilia at the time don’t you think ?
The decals look quite factory to me.
Just maybe this bike is how the whole Millie swinger swap got started ! I’ve often wondered who was the first and how they came up with it.

all in the parts bin - yep - but holiness forks are different size than showa / marzocchi - would need to be shimmed - not that hard to do but.... fitting the mille triple is another option but does not look so tidy imho

and yes, it could be were it all started - i also have no idea of who did or when the first one was done

I like the braided oil sump hose with the goodridge-like couplings - very mille SP. And the single side exhaust with the original Falco oil sump is also very tidy.

And looks like a trade show because there is a red and blue falco somewhere in the background.

    Project frankenfalco is Go..Go..Go!!!

Well I wanted to build a me bike not look I have one like everyone elseís

So it was to be cafe race ,flat tracker or scrambler

I really liked the victory project 156 pikes peak racer and this may morph that way at a later date

To built from all the crap I have laying around and a dead falco

Got a gen2 motor going in and some gold Showa forks

need to chop up a falco seat unit now to see if the above is possible.

If not not a panigale seat may come into play

so progress so far has amounted to this will be getting my fingers greasy next week swapping staters over etc to enable the gen2 engine to bolt in and run on the gen1 electrics

Iíll probably be using a Mille loom and try an package all the electics into a custom made undertry and I have a li-Po battery which is smaller to assist me

Mark, we're on the same frequency! I have been fantasizing about a bobbed, fairing-less dirt/flat track version lately, too, but mine would lack any front fender ... but that's just me.

Looks like you're off to a great start, keep the pics coming!

Mark, saw this and thought you'd like it. One might call it gritty.
