Ive seen them race many times in NZ, Whanganui street circuit, and all our race tracks, it dominated in its day. 137kgs dry, and 166rwhp, they sounded absolutely amazing. John Britten himself was such a talented man, he even built his own house, making some amazing things inside the house like the banister. Great man. A Britten is now worth over half a mill, but fuck theres no piece of art out there thats worth a mill that comes close.

Those pesky young blokes on "old bikes" are still at the top at the conclusion of the test.

I am gunna put it out there and say that mm will win two more titles with Honda to equal the hated ones record. Then jump ship to another bike. I’m gunna say Suzuki or Ducati. Yuall heard it here first.

Sadly, Yamaha has been doing better in testing lately than they do it the races.
So we will see if that has changed.

I was lucky enough to not only see the Britten race but meet and talk to John Britten. He was an impressive person, capable of talking to a normal people like myself and not making me feel stupid. We talked about quick shifters, with me being surprised that he did not yet have one. He then explained the one he was working on, that integrated into the whole system (vs the simple bolt on one we were using).
Being out on the track at Daytona with it was amazing.

Ditto that. One the most mechanically form / function machines ever and the other is the most fluid styled race bike to touch a track (IMHO).

Derbi featured a CF swing arm on their Cup bikes back in 2004.

Do you really not understand the difference between a CUP bike and a GP bike? Seriously? Meh, you are a Honda apologist so I probably shouldn't even respond.

Here you go, a nice photo of some rocks. Go argue with them.

I made a cf beam framed 250 rotax twin with front and rear cf swing arms back in '87.

No pics, they were all lost when I emigrated. I'm a mechanical engineer.

That’s a shame, I love carbon fibre and seeing it used in different places and especially people who do i5 themselves. I think it’s why I love the Britten so much John was a genius.
The fact he was able to push eng8neering wise in the BEAR championship.
