    Bats Aprilia RS250² Barganini's

Yesterday I picked up a couple of the cheapest Aprilia RS250's available anywhere in the world. The catch? They are all in pieces! At least they both have titles and at least one of them may be possibly tuned into a street bike. Although I've owned a couple RS250 in the past, we've never done a full build on one. I've posted plenty of smaller bike build info over the years and thankfully you all have posted tons of RS250 build info which will help tremendously as we return these bikes to their natural environment!

Here are the bikes piled into the back of the Bats van. They have Kawi ZX6 front ends and there is a banshee conversion kit and cases in there somewhere as well.

I couldn’t pass them up. Seller was great and had history with the bikes.

    nice find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get your confidence back with Aprilia.

caution: the use of motorcycles may be habit forming. side effects include purchasing multiple examples of the same bike, in different states of tune, different years, or different models altogether. some motorcycles may be not running when purchased. some parts are no longer available. there are rare instances where aprilias are bought over the internet and upon arrival, they are not as were originally disclosed. there is a small group of people who cannot handle two stroke engines and motorcycle maintenance. if this is the case, you may not be a candidate for Aprilia RS250's.

Aprilia. Ask your doctor if the RS250 is right for you.

    I don't kiss and tell

We just bought another Aprilia RS250 today from fellow Bats member and two stroke enthusiast. This was apparently the real life G.I. Jane's track bike back in the day! This will become priority #1 in the three bike lineup of Aprilia RS250's in our stable.

Along with the bike came 3 sets of pipes which will really help out on the builds of the other 2 in the future!

This bike came with a (special?) Suzuki SAPC controller and CDI so the RS250 will make power like the RGV250.

Two dry clutch setups we found in the Barganini parts

Awesome score and good luck with the builds! Don't think those are vj22 dry clutches, look like vj23 dry clutches to me. I have no idea if their compatible...oil pump drive is above the water pump not behind the output shaft like the 22s

There is a set of Jolly Moto in there, not sure what the "handmade" set is, could be JL. Need to investigate further. Thanks for the info!

Good info to know, thanks! Not planning on running injection so maybe we can use them? Could only find one dry basket setup though.

Definitely VJ23 dry clutches. Nothing VJ23 will work on the VJ21/22 RS250 engines
    Rare parts nonetheless...
