    Best option for front blinkers

    Hi everyone, after a Shiver (2008-2013) an '08 RSV 1000 (2013-2018) now the time has come for a '08 Tuono.
    Will post some pics later.

    Just a question; the bike has the original huge front blinkers. Anybody got other better options?

    Thanks in advance :-)

    I fitted Aprilia 2S000048 leds.
    They need resistors which are jammed into the lip of the fairing.
    Because they are Aprilia the holes line up.

    I fitted BMW GS LED indicators on my Mana. They have the same fitting as Aprilia and are Canbus compatible so don't need the resisters. I just changed the plug over to the Aprilia type so they are easy to disconnect if needed.

    Install was not that hard; the mounting holes line up good. Only light trimming needed on the plastic to fit the square hole in the fairing.
    After soldering the original connector to the lights installation was a breeze.

    Only issue is that these cheap Ali knock-offs don't have a built in resistor. So i need to add a small resistor to actually make them work.
    Lots of info on that on the forum, so these are already ordered :-) (small ones, 180-200 ohm 0,25-0,5w).

    I had Rizoma Track 77 on my Tuono. I doubt those are being sold anymore. I like the BMW ones from above post too.

    Check out the Watsons LEDs. They are pricey, but hella bright and high quality. Dude only makes one run a year or so.

    Ah! Still debating - another option would be to just install bulbs with Shiver-like blinkers;

    They also have the same mounting position as the originals and kinda look stock but more updated.

    i just put normal resistors in of 150 ohm/ 1w. This is enough to get the stock blinking speed and not get an error from the ecu. A bit lighter resistor could also work.
    Another option is these after market resistors built for led blinkers. There are far more expensive though and a normal resistor does the trick as well.
