    How low can you go?

Curious how much lower on the bars I can go before having to cut front fairing sub-frame and move fuse/relay boxes? I have distributed all of my spare stock clip-ons to those in need and don't have a starting point. I'm going racing with it...

Can someone please post a pic of their stock bars at full lock? I think that I can judge from that. Thanks!

Will make a pic later. At one point I had lowered the clipons by 5mm with a spacer for the M5 bolt under the top yoke, like the RC8 has. There were no problems with fairing lock or anything. I reckon you only run into trouble when you add a radial master, which does foul the fairing stay at certain angles.

This is with the RSV 18x19 brembo radial master, and with the bike on ignition lock. Clipons are in original position. As you can see, there's not much between the lever and the fairing stay.

Thanks for the pic! You think the radial master is a bit more confining? I'll be using the stock master. Looks like you have about a lever width lower before you hit the fuse box? I can turn some new steering stops as I won't be near full lock on the track.

With the radial master tilted a bit down, which is what I require for two finger braking, the lever slightly hits the fairing stay on full lock. I plan on having new some new steering stops made for the top yoke as well.

How much space do you think the radial master takes away? When I make the stops I'll make you a set, however, mine are located on the bottom fork clamp.

Thanks! Think I'll make a set. Shouldn't take much time and material on hand. They do look well made, though!
