    Clutch repair and cost..?

I am going to have a shop replace my clutch. What's the going rate for this type of job..?

    What will be replaced?

I'd personally do it on my own as it is pretty straigh forward. Depending on the depth of the job one needs to remove the clutch cover only or the entire clutch housing. The latter means draining the coolant.

What is wrong with the clutch? Has someone taken a look at it to determine it needs replacing (and which parts)?

I see you are in San Diego, If you replace your coolant, use Water wetter. I know SD is not as hot as Texas (where I live) BUT. It made a world of difference on my bike.
