    Brembo RCS-19 master cylinder

Never used M/C. Buddy of mine bought it, attempted to mount it and either cross-threaded the banjo bolt or used the incorrect pitch bolt. I bought it as a spare for parts, as it was never used. Could probably be repaired and used. I canít guarantee that, however. Image shows thread damage. I have a bunch of these all the sudden, so I do not need this one. $100 shipped in the ConUS.

Looks like it could be tapped. What do you think?

Yeah, Brembo's use a specific thread pattern different to virtually every other banjo bolt thread pattern for everyone else out there. I've seen this happen more than once - and yes, you can drill it and re-thread it but it may or may not work
Current: '07 Aprilia Tuono Factory, '07 BMW R1200GS
    Past: '14 Aprilia Tuono V4, '17 KTM RC390, '07 KTM Superduke 990, '07 Husqvarna SM610

He chose to try and install it without my help and advice, and here we are.

IMO this is much too critical a component. There should be absolutely zero ambiguity in the validity of any repair - I can't see that to be the case here. Not that it cannot be salvaged. Sure it can but at that point the cost factor in having it properly done would more than likely rise close to... or even exceed the cost of a new one.

Precisely. Which is why I have kept it as a spare for parts. The decision on what to do with it is ultimately left up to the buyer.

I'd like to take it if it hasn't been sold yet. Sending you a PM regarding this.
