    Binder to KTM Tech3!

In 2016 I thought he might reach the top class even earlier. Good on him. Hope he can make the Trellis work for him better than Zarco has.

Slightly different topic, but it seems crazy that Zarco wouldn't dirt bike so as not to affect his smooth style?!, when Lorenzo does just that?!

Good move by KTM, Binder has shown KTM loyalty, KTM reciprocating this with this promotion. Binder can start his Moto GP career with out any pressure.

I heard they're going to an aluminum twin-spar frame next year.

No, no I didn't hear that.

Hope Brad can help push team forward.

The problem with these new rookies is they're on sub-par bike
    Quatararo, Olieveira

Got to start somewhere, and Honda's number one bike is taken.

Recent history says if you don't start on a factory bike from day 1, you go nowhere... no matter the talent

I wonder if the fish is headed to Moto 2?

Any word on Alex Marquez making the jump? I'm going to crown him 2019 moto 2 champ.

I think he said during last race press conference that there's no good bike available for 2020 so he'll go to GP in 2021

I think KTM only went into Moto2 because they were losing, or in danger of losing, talent they'd nurtured in Moto3 when they couldn't offer them the next step up within 'the family' - Oliviera and Brad are the first to benefit from that strategy.

Binder is a fine chap, but I think it's premature. Better riders out there that could have that seat. I guess KTM are doing their thing with respect to building a riders academy that will bring youngsters from 9 years old to MotoGP, but I think they need to be smart about ignoring other good talent just because they weren't brought up in the KTM family.

Maybe their current experience with Zarco has made them wary of bringing in riders from 'outside'? That is proving to be a costly experiment.
The way that bike seems to need to be ridden is super aggressively I think will suit Binders style - he's more of a Pol than a Zarco.
