Silmoto / arrow underseat - pictures inside muffer - anyone have them ?

I was wondering if anyone have such pictured.
Maybe somebody did them during wool re-pack.
I am just curious how inside pipes are routed :-)

I don’t have pictures of the Arrow but it is simply a perforated pipe going from the corner where the exhaust header joins the muffler to the single central outlet...

The most difference probably comes from the bigger diameter headpipes not the silencer

I think from looking into the inlet and exit side of my silmoto last time it was just a straight thrue perforated pipe.
And no chambers I guess, have to open it up and repack it when I find the time and will to do it..

Generally perforated tube should be covered with a little bit of steel wool, than next few layers of normal exhaust wool. Rest of area should be packed as much as possible. More wool, less noise and last longer.

100g steel wool and 400g normal wool, that's what I placed in mine silencer.

I don't see the steel wool lasting long...

It would be glowing red and disappearing out the exhaust in a shower of sparks...

a proper, dedicated steel wool for silencers is able to last over 1000-1000C, when exhaust gases are way below this range of temperatures...
