I am gunna put it out there and say that mm will win two more titles with Honda to equal the hated ones record. Then jump ship to another bike. Iím gunna say Suzuki or Ducati. Yuall heard it here first.

I had a '62 E100 that I got at a GSA action in Boise for $210. Way better shape than that one. Had a 144 straight six in it. Was a great truck considering. He's asking way too much for that one. Not worth scrap.

Custom crate it with 2x4's, take pictures, insure if it you'd like, fedex or UPS freight it for a few hundred bucks. BAM bobs your auntie.

here's what i was thinking of, the rampside.

but it'd be crap for hauling bikes as the side-load ramp-gate allows too little room for a bike due to raised rear load-floor to clear rear mount engine.

    still cool as heck

I had a Virago motor shipped via freight several years ago.

It was on it's side, strapped onto a car tire, onto a pallet.

It was a simple, yet creative way to ship.

Look at my XV920R thread for photos.

The best quote from freightquote was $347. Not sure how much more a smaller pallet would reduce the price. I suppose that ain't horrible but I'm not the one writing the check.

that seems a bit much, considering we (at the engine joint) shipped longblocks cross country for 225. (rates are probably different though-lots of shipping vs one time item)

residential vs commercial for the pickup and drop-off has a big effect on pricing. Might be cheaper if you could drop it off at a freight terminal yourself.
