Ups and downs on the capo

Met up with kennibear and ecu and all that checked out. Maps are good. Got home and decided to check the charging system out of curiosity of some similar symptoms of before to find only 12.33 volts at 4k rpms. I had 13.3 a few days ago though and 14.2 when I first installed. Checked the stator plug out of the R/R to find voltage in only 2/3 pairings... it's brand new from Rick's, just installed May 12th. But I had to cut some wires to install it as the original ones weren't long enough, any ideas what could be causing these things to burn out?

I mention the cutting due to the warranty argument. Don't think I can send it back because I had to modify it.

Check the yellow lead that doesn't have an output with the other two.
Use a sewing needle or pin next to the engine case and the lead at the furthest connector that you can get at close to the R/R. Check for continuity. Sounds more like a failed wire.
FYI when we ran TuneECU we found ShadDad's fan set at 106C. I'm guessing that is the factory setting. He is running the 51123 map and it ignores the O2 sensor and his version runs @ 35 in the first couple of low power cells on the injection map as opposed to Catfish's 50429 map which reads @27. LTF was set at 7.9. It smells slightly rich but I don't have a wide band Lambda set up to explore that. Just fir everyone to know. I should post this on the TuneECU thread

I'll try this when I get home tonight if I have the time.

    ...

Try to avoid messing with mapping until AFTER all electrical & mechanical maintenance & repair are completed.

Then I'd recommend my "050429_catfish2011.hex" map & settings shown here:

    Good luck gentlemen,

    Catfish:
Do you prefer the 2011 version because I find the throttle response on the original quite acceptable? I ride downtown Seattle commuter traffic and the original mapping is actually useful when I point and squirt.
