Already with a slower bike and bum arm he fights for podiums (and wins, sooner or later).
No crashes so far, that is also exceptional.
I admire the attitude of Fabio, he really seems to be a down to earth guy.
I think over the coming decade, he will be the rider to push MM off the top step. He is special, and a world champion in waiting for sure!

Very early for predicting that.Maverick was to be the new dogs bollox too and that didn’t turn out great at least so far.
Theres only one contender for the crown for at least a while I would say.

Yeah but stepping up from a satellite Yamaha to the factory team isn't always a step up in results. I'm sure Yamaha are eyeing him closely as Rossi's replacement and if this year continues as is I honestly wouldn't be surprised if VR decided to retire...

Marc plays the smart game whilst his closest rivals flounder, hope he does well in Germany. Baldassarri move was as unimpressive as Roscoes, reshuffles the Moto2 deck. Can't say Jorge isn't trying, would like to see him get a leash on that Honda before it really breaks him.

    This.

He's in a happy environment with the team he's with at the moment and his talent is being nurtured.....as a rule factory teams don't do that, they demand results and apply pressure.....its perhaps a little early in his Motogp career to be throwing him to the wolves, look what its done to Maverick if you want to see a stressed out kid in a factory team, or Danillo, or Zarco.......

Only possible exception to that for me would be Suzuki, they seem to adopt a more civilized approach, maybe that's to a large extent the influence of Davide Brivio, he seems like a thoroughly decent individual.

Maverick isn’t in the same league as FQ, but your observation is noted murph and I’ll get back to you in the next 24~48 months with either contrition or....... we will see, it’ll be interesting all the same mate.

He has something akin to, dare I say, a young Casey Stoner. He is blindingly fast! He can now learn how to win races and championships, but the blindingly fast can’t be taught..

Pretty good race for a while. Sucks for Rins, as he was looking comfortable. His body postion seems odd for this era - he generally sits up very tall on corner entry compared to the others. Anyway, bummer for him.

Great showing for Quatararo! He's looking like he could be the next MM challenger. Too early to say for sure, but he is impressive.

Nice ride by Vinales as well - it would be great to see him back in the mix.

Smart ride by MM. I was worried he was going to try to hunt down Vinales, which would have been completely unnecessary. The domination continues.

    Ducati - meh.

Oxley is right on VR. Had MM done that people would be going ape shit, but VR gets barely a mention for the move. Mistakes happen, it's just interesting. Glad they're both alright.

Sucks for JLo, but not surprising. He's having a year to forget for sure.

VR hardly got a mention because you never really could tell what happened while watching. Had it been in your face it would have been different.

Not that I'm a Rossi fan, but credit to him for being the voice of reason about Jorge's bowling ball. Unlike his teammate MV, Rossi just said it's racing, it happens.

Do you see Danillo stressed lately? I don't think so, he's blossomed since he won in Mugello, and I am willing to bet he will have more points than Dovi at the end of the year. Dovi is stressed because it's been years everyone said he's the only one that can give it to MM.

The stress on Zarco is due to the shit bike, not Zarco's lack of talent, they gave him a truck to race with. I'm certain if he could take VR46's spot in 2021, it would be a widely different outcome than in KTM.

You're right about Suzuki, they have the right approach for an underdog, lots of positive attitude, not a lot of stress and nurturing talent.. Total opposite of KTM.
