    Has anyone seen this before?

Has anyone got any info whatís happening with this sxv550 07 model? Gear box oil is transferring into engine!! This is happening very quickly so the engine oil level is coming so quick itís pushing oil from engine breather. Any clues any one.🤔🤔

Has in had a cam timing check recently?

There is a bolt that goes from the gearbox side to engine side that needs to be removed to pin the crank for checking timing...

If this is left out it will take more than the usual 550ml to fill the gearbox to the level hole...

This might not be noticed on filling as the oil won't drain into the engine that fast...

    This bolt...

If you remove the clutch cover you might just be able to see if it is missing...

If it is missing you have to remove the whole side cover to replace...

    Just to check...

When draining the gearbox did you remove the front or rear drain plug near the gear lever?

The rear plug. Front one is engine oil. Iam sure your diagnosis is right as with 630ml put in slowly the oil would not come up to level hole (peep hole)👍

Big thanks to S4R for pointing out the cause, took clutch cover off today and sure enough no bolt been put back in!! Replaced with an Allen head bolt which I was able to get in with a long Alan key. Happy days.👍😃😃

A big thank you to S4R for advice on this, removed clutch cover and sure enough that bolt was missing! I managed to get a Alan head bolt in past side of clutch so saved a lot of work there. Every thing running sweet now 👍😃😃
