    Frame slider cracked frame

Yesterday, car was going backwards, didn't saw may bike and flipped my tuono 1000r. First i thought, ok, just cosmetic damage but then my heart stopped. Fucking frame slider caused frame to crack. Today i went to welder and he told me he can fix this, but first i will wait what insurance says. Stupid frame slider caused more damage then there was no frame slider.

Yup, frame sliders can - and as you know - do - do that, from time to time. The opinions on them are like oil threads, so beware.

The insurance company will (and should) total your bike due to the frame damage.

Woodcraft and Aprilia accessories front frame sliders don't mount directly to the frame.

Woodcraft use one of the engine mount bolts to take the main load. I have seen one other thread regarding a cracked frame which was caused by a Woodcraft slider and the damage was minute compared to Igorz, but in the same place. That member had it repaired.

    Yep.
    +1 for the Woodcrafts.
    Saved my P&J twice.
Pucks are easily available from WC too.

I have rapaired the frame, and decided not to weld thread back because it has no function (only to mount ebay sliders that will do this damage), and to make frame stronger. This is good school for future, inspect sliders when buying bike, and if they are mounted like this, remove them.
