I have Grip Puppies on my GT. They simply slip over the existing grips and work a treat with my arthritic knuckles as they allow a more relaxed grip on the bars. I also have one of those clip on paddles on the throttle so I don’t have to grip it so tightly.

The gel style grips are comfortable, but if your just having problems with the throttle side pick up a cramp buster. They just clip around the any throttle grip in seconds, cost about 10 bucks. I can just rest my hand on it to hold the throttle.
