    Throttle Lock suggestions?

I have a 2 day ride coming up next month and am looking for a throttle lock/cruise control option for my 02 capo that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg

Does that require cutting my grips up though?

Nope. It's about a 15 minute install. No cutting or modification needed.

I'll give it a go. I think my minister has one of these on his Vulcan 88

The basic premise is that it grips onto your throttle grip and when you flip the thumb switch it tightens the metal band around it, holding the throttle open in whatever position you set it at. It can be adjusted so you can make minor throttle setting adjustments as you go.......

I use one of these. Very simple and effective.

I am looking more for attach and forget. I've tried one of those fatigue rests that slips on the grip, but it's top much to fiddle with at 70mph

What's that? Mama always told me doing 95 now and then is good for cleaning out the cobwebs

    I've been using this Scottoiler - https://www.scottoiler.com/product/s...ruise-control/
It works! And even it's not a safest thing to do, I've managed to adjust it while riding with the help of the left hand.

Highly recommend the Atlas black Top Kit - https://www.atlasthrottlelock.com/pr...nt=36907497473

Purchased for a 440 mile trip to Wales and back mainly on UK dual carriageways and motorways. Went for this as had to return an Oxford plastic P shaped cruise control as this did not fit my oversize heated grips.

Very expensive* but neat, well engineered, instinctive and efficient solution. Black finish blends in with controls, Top Kit does not interfere with heated grips. I use with the smallest friction pad.
Click bottom button to set, top button to cancel.
Easy to override when set but remember it is a throttle lock and not a cruise control. Provided you have postioned correctly for your favoured throttle position, requires one simple thumb click to cancel.

    * I purchased at the MCN London show in February, in addition to purchase price (110 iirc) got stung for currency charges on credit card. Hopefully as in USA you will get a bargain price!
