Crazy attrition rate in Moto3 and MotoGP.

Nice to see Canet in the lead, Alex getting it together this year and Marc heading for eight.

I am gunna put it out there and say that mm will win two more titles with Honda to equal the hated ones record. Then jump ship to another bike. Iím gunna say Suzuki or Ducati. Yuall heard it here first.

Yeah! It started great, I was getting excited and then..... Just give Fabio the revs, dammit!!! He might have had a decent chance to challenge. Should have been his second podium.

Yeah Lorenzo may get a new nickname, at first I thought torpedo, but after many replays at different angles it looks more like 'wrecking ball'.

Well Bradley Smith took out his teams & the Apes best chance, he won't be popular.
Iannone just cruises anyway, not sure why he bothers.

I was amazed to see JLo make such a rookie mistake. That crash had nothing to do with slippery track conditions or anything else other than rider error. He completely misjudged his entry speed into the corner. It looked like he may have gotten sucked in too fast by using Marc as a reference. But he was in to hot and too tight to have any chance of making the corner. Then making things worse there were a couple guys in his path. Rossi had the worst luck, he literally passed his way into the crash. He slide by Petrux just in time to make it to the crash.
I will give Jlo credit, though. He did take full responsibility for it. I know that seems obvious, but they don't always own screw ups like that.
And I was stunned to see JLo up front like that. Ironically, I was also amazed to see Vinales up front that early in the race. For once he got a good start and didn't fall backwards, only to have that happen to him.
It was shaping up to be a great race.....

Yeah, if they're supposedly going for consistency in decision making about penalties that does seem odd........I don't think either was a result of 'reckless riding' and neither rider has a history of similar incidents.
Folks make genuine mistakes, split second decisions sometimes don't always work out well, given a few metres either way and Jorge could have slid harmlessly between the others and ended up the only victim, as it is he unfortunately took out 3 of the prime contenders as well as himself....odds of that happening are pretty slim I would say.

Rossi is right, when the camera pans out and you see the proper corner as opposed to the mickey mouse version being used now its a no brainer. If the riders are happy with the original, constant radius corner, and safety is not an issue, then why are they persisting with the current arrangement which is in itself the cause of many accidents?

Its not as if it requires expensive track alterations, its already there.

Simon Crafar also said the corner was like a car park.
