    Pig dead

Pig dead turned the ignition on and nothing on the display?
Only thing on the screen is the flashing red alarm thingy.
Loose wires or shorting of some sort.
Luckily it didnít happen next weekend hopefully get it sorted soon regards Robbie

Ha, I've had hours of fun with that one.

Press the tabs in, while twisting a small screwdriver in the gap between. Sort of.

In preparation for your visit to the wild North, I'm planning a route comprising of only right turns to allow your bike to continue running!

    Depends on the person soldering.:-)
I've had two unrelated issues that required it being removed.

Yep it needs a really good hot solder, none of this tacking it on rubbish!

its worth cable tying the ignition wire on to the fork stansion when you put it back togeteher this stops any movement of the wire being transfered to down the wire to the solder.

Soldered the wire back in position.
    Refitted the switch and nothing.
Dismantled it again turned the switch with a screw driver then ignition comes on ?
Tried again it works in a certain position that holes on the bracket don’t marry with the fixing location??
I have been Fannying about for ages with no luck.
I noticed if you short the 2 wires without the key in the ignition it asks for a code on the display.
However if you short the wires with the key in the on position the display works as normal
so I'm thinking if I fit a simple on/off switch to the 2 wires as a temporary measure would this work??regards Robbie
