    Intro - new to Aprilia

Hi all! New here, live in Virginia, used to be in the Nebraska most of my life up until 2018. Just picked up a 2013 RSV4 R track bike. It has pretty much everything I'd need, just needs number plates and at some point another paint job, but I'm not in a rush on that. Used to have a Ducati 1198 years ago, then I downsized to smaller displacement bikes for racing. Currently I'm racing a ninja 400 in CCS, which replaced the R3 I raced before. But I missed having a big bike again, and I found this for a pretty good deal. I'll be doing a couple of track days on it first to get used to the bike and then I'll do a few races throughout the remainder of the season on it, although I know I won't be competitive at all. Just looking to have some fun

Track days and fun are all that matters. For many of us with other jobs we can not and need not win every race or lead every group. Just stay in the middle of your friends and have fun.

leave the rest to the full time racers/coaches who get more track time
    present
now a 2017 Aprilia Tuono RR let the mods begin
sold the fun little 675 daytona
    previous - two Gen2 "Factories"

Yeah I'll be honest, I have the willingness to win every race, but I lack the ability to do so lol I won't be quitting my day job anytime soon that's for sure. I'll keep racing for as long as I'm having fun.

Hi, I'm in Virginia, too located in Richmond. And also have a 2013 RSV4 Factory. Been doing track days the last couple of years and just did my first race in twelve years last August at Summit Point. Going back there the weekend of the 22nd for CCS races.
