    rs250 engine, electronics etc....

I’m thinking to sale my whole engine block from my rs250.
i just lightly seized the pistons, not even locking the tire, so no big damages, just redoing pistons should be fine.
the idea is to sell the whole engine, carbs, exhausts, digital cockpit, radiator with all electric/electronics, basically the whole running part of the bike.
I can send video of the bike running right before the seize and pics of he bike in general and the details.
price is 2k O.B.O. Carbs were just rebuilt, fresh air filter, new clutch and clutch hub, new cables for power valve, bike after full rebuilt has done just 2 trackdays
for info and pricing please PM me, only serious enquirers please

way too high for a blown up engine, who knows what else is wrong with it IMO

you can get haggard out yet running strong cup bikes for less than that

Get your confidence back with Aprilia.

caution: the use of motorcycles may be habit forming. side effects include purchasing multiple examples of the same bike, in different states of tune, different years, or different models altogether. some motorcycles may be not running when purchased. some parts are no longer available. there are rare instances where aprilias are bought over the internet and upon arrival, they are not as were originally disclosed. there is a small group of people who cannot handle two stroke engines and motorcycle maintenance. if this is the case, you may not be a candidate for Aprilia RS250's.

Aprilia. Ask your doctor if the RS250 is right for you.

everything else was actually rebuilt 200 miles before, every single part! The only thing wrong is too much air going into combustion, as I stated the bike seized at low speed, lot even locking the tire! So definetively no other damages has been done, but I can also open the engine and check, not a problem.
finding a cup bike for 5k? When, 5 years ago? In what condition? Whole engine has been refreshed, gears, clutch, clutch basket, polished heads and all other parts..
if you to reply please do it with cognition
    plus proce is negotiable...
Then again, is not just the engine block,, it’s all the rest too

I paid $4200 for my cup bike, a year ago, from California.

My standard response to someone selling something NON working who wants high$ because "it's an easy fix" is "fix it yourself then and come back when its working". Otherwise you're trying to minimise your risk and asking the buyer to maximize theirs.

Even if you did get it all working, running in frame, I think you'd struggle to get close to $5000.

Don't like the above? Then please consider posting your FS items in the correct forum here. Since this isn't the classifieds forum this means you can also quit with the "cognition" comments.

I just bought a 2002 Cup bike for $3k in Florida. Pretty clean with a refreshed motor and additional gas tank in mint condition.

    Nice. Welcome.

I'd really like to find a spare mk2 gas tank to repaint. Not had much luck, overseas easier but shipping tanks is hard/$$$
