    Unhappy Delivery time Dorso900

    Hello everyone,

At this time, I was supposed to be a part of the family (expected delivery the 05/16/2019) with a Dorsoduro 900

But my dealer didn't receive the bike, and no sign of Aprilia ..

I didn't see a thread on this, how much have you waited for your Dorso across the world ?

I've ordered a brand new with dark theme in France (I'm not far from Noale ..)

And if I can ask this there, what did you think of the tyres delivered with the bike (Dunlop qualifier, the first one ?) ?

    Thanks, have fun, V

The dunlops were sticky enough but two sets in 5500 miles. I'm using Michelin pilot power 2ct now. Like them more than Dunlop don't know about wear yet.

Hey congratulations with your Dorsoduro order.

I have been waiting for my Shiver 900 2019 black since 6/01/2019. The problem is that the Shiver 2019 only went into production somewhere in April. So ordering for April was a bit useless, delivery is planned for July.

Try the Pirelli Angel GTs (or GT 2 now). Putting them on my 750 was a revelation after the Dunlops. It was like I got a whole new bike with better handling.

Thanks for the info, I'm expecting a call from my dealer today

Your case Dierick could maybe explain why I didn't have my DD900 yet too

Usually I take some Pilot road from Michelin, but I take note for pilot power on track and angel for the road (I've buy a pair of red rims for road day and the original black ones for track day )

nothing wrong with the stock Dunlops. Nothing really right about them either. I don't know if it's the tires or the forks, but I get almost no feedback from the front end. I won't buy the stock tires when they are used up. Even Avon Storm sport touring tires have more feel.

I only weigh about 70kg. Backing the fork preload off from 2 turns to 2.5 helped. At 2, the forks were using 1/3rd of their full travel. Now it is about 3/4. Much better front end feel. Still don't like the tires though.
