Yes, they are correct regarding the new throttle shaft. It reduces airflow turbulence for more efficient Aéreo dynamics, increases throttle usable area and speeds up air speed. Also, some of the port to throttle body port matching could be used too for the downdraft Design

I have a dilema for the rear exhausts vs. rear shock issue/solution:

Exhaust header must kept away from the rear shock to prevent the shock oil from absorbing too much heat and losing damping. Solution: Ceramic/JetHot headers or install shield without adding much weight.

whats the forum expert thought or suggestion?

I've been running EVO II headers on my 1100 motor for years now, with no heat shielding etc no ill effects

Obviously ideally you'd want some separation of those components for the reasons you described but what is inadequate about it from the factory?

I've not seen anyone go to that length, space is super tight in there (don't have to tell you) and despite being a fabricator I've not considered it

I'm also not running a TTX just the OEM Ohlins from my '16 Factory, but I believe the overall profile is so close. Like I said I've not experienced ill effects but that is street riding, your application may vary

I think this is why the wsbk machines always have the shock reservoir mounted longitudinally.

Well, if weather permit, it will definetly see some track time with those upgrades.

Here's some more additional updates & test:

Stock (Blue) vs SC Project CRT SlipOn (Red) vs QD Midpipe SC Project Carbon (Green). Gained considerable usable 4-5whp mid-range w/some 1-2whp top end gain. Gas used Shell 93AKI =) Can't wait for some race gas

Were you able to just buy the mid pipe QD section, or did you have to buy the entire 3/4 system?

    Here's their link:

    https://www.qdexhaust.it/catalogo-qd...unshot-racing/

Snikwad, we ordered the QD entire 3/4 system & ceramic coated inside/out with their Gunshot muffler 60mm-60mm. But, using the SC Project Carbon 60mm-70mm made the best power 1/2 throttle & full throttle.
Also, will be testing some other custom header/exhaust in SS & Ti soon, since the current Akra Evo I/II gains were mediocre & not worth it imho. A SC Project SlipOn with UniqueSBK flash will make more.
