    Lightbulb Battery Upgrade - ENTX14-BS

Iíve seen a battery thatís showing as being compatible as a replacement for the YTX-14 BS

Outlining figures and size remain the same, yet with a greater Amp output of ~165Amps

Anyone ever encountered this, tried one ? Or have any stories to tell of success or failures ?

I had Yuasa for some time which was not great. Two years ago I switched to Tuborg with 220A CCA. Works better and still holds.

A new battery is only half the battle; fit the up graded starter motor / earth leads and 150A starter relay as well.
I've had the Yuasa fitted since buying my Gen 1 T, and the wiring up grade; its always started first prod, even after winter lay ups.

From the upgrades mentioned above I have the 150Amps starter coil only.

    That’s mega !

Thanks for the info info and assistance, I’ve done the battery cables but haven’t looked at the starter relay or motor yet.... after replacing the yuasa battery a few times in the last 3 years I’m just going to swap everything out !

Shindengen is next on my list. I've bought an FH014AA, just getting all the wiring, connectors and fuse holder together slow time.

The Yuasa TTZ 14S is probably the one I'd reccomend.
The spec sheet claims 230 CCA, it's lighter and shorter than the YTX 14-BS but with slightly less capacity.
