AF1 Racing is Hiring -- SR Tech / SVC Manager

Seeking Service Manager / Shop Forman / Senior Technician

AF1 Racing in Austin Texas is looking for a Senior Technician / Service Manager. We are an Internationally known Aprilia, Guzzi, Vespa, Piaggio, Norton, Ural, Energica, SWM, and Zero Motorcycles dealership. We are need of the right person to fill a big pair of shoes and expand our service department. We service most makes and models , however our specialty is European motorcycles, and we are continuing to expand into the electric segment. We do not service quads, jet skis, boats, ATVs or side by side utility machines, mowers or lawn equipment.

Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the motorcycle industry, specialization in European brands preferred but not required. Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa, Ducati, KTM, BMW and Triumph experience a definite plus. Racing experience a plus. This is not the typical tech or service manager job, we all wear multiple hats here at AF1, and expect the same from any new team members. Management skills AND diagnostic skills are important. High productivity, efficiency, and accuracy are very important. Qualified candidates will have their own extensive tool collection by this point. AF1 Racing has all required special tools, as well as an extensive collection of unique tools.

This is a creative environment. You will have access to fabrication facilities including CNC mill / lathe, tig and mig welders, cutters, benders and a dyno test cell. Dyno tuning and diagnostic experience is a plus. Perks include access to all AF1 shop tools including car lift, large fleet of company owned motorcycles as well as current demos, medical insurance, company events, a salary that is more than competitive for the motorcycle industry, flexible time off for proven performers, and the chance to enjoy local motorcycle and motorsports events and facilities.

If not already certified in the brands mentioned above then we will assist as time allows. No phone calls for initial contact, please email info@af1racing.com. Letís get to know each other!
