    Leon would rock that.
I'm sure there's others in the paddock that do well in the dirt..

Bautista marches on 11/11, Rea desperately putting up a fight, on to the next round.

Just watching body language on the podium for race 1, Rea looked really down.
    Shoulders slumped and conveyed dejected.
I know he's a tough guy and will persevere, but that's got to be tough.

Bautista man aged the gap once he had it in race one.

Rea sounded remarkably upbeat in the post race interview, said that it's up to Kawasaki to come up with some improvements. Chaz definitely sounded pissed off, said that they can't get the bike to turn despite making lots of changes.

Don't suppose he can shrink a foot and lose 20kg?

Good to have the traditional WSBK format back for the weekend thanks to the weather - a reminder of how good it is to have 2 races in the day!

Incredible start by JR in race 2, Bautista must have thought WTF!!! when he came past less than half way round the 1st lap....JR's attempts to back the field up to disrupt AB's flow was a nice try but as soon as he escaped he was gone again. When it comes to 'man & machine in perfect harmony' that's what we're seeing....even on such a rough weekend and going completely the wrong way with set up on Friday the team still managed to turn it round and give Alvaro a winning bike - very impressive.
And Assen providing great racing as always - a proper bike track rather than one designed for cars.

All joking aside I think that's the only way he's could to get the bike to work for him

2nd race was great. until alvaro said goodbye. looks as if he will put a championship trophy on his shelf. vdm looking very good. since there is no point in watching the rest of the season, maybe soap carving from now on??

I am gunna put it out there and say that mm will win two more titles with Honda to equal the hated ones record. Then jump ship to another bike. Im gunna say Suzuki or Ducati. Yuall heard it here first.

Good racing for the second place. I'll follow. Trophy is Alvaro's.

It also looks like Bautista's tyres last compared to everyone else.

If you mean the beginning of race 2 to me it looked like Rea was trying to hold the pace to preserve tyres. Like you see in GP. It didn't work out.

Class act, for sure he is. Results are phenomenal.

Looks like Yamaha is creeping past Kwaks slowly. Future races will tell.

It was apparant all race, that's the only way you make up time at Assen . Yeah the Yamaha's are improving although I think VdM had some extra impetus from racing at home

What puzzles me a bit is the fact how his tyres hold. Reiteberger was hanging there with a BMW in race 1 but burned his tyres completely.
