Hi thanks for the kind offers of refreshments and accommodation for the day before the meet.
However I will be travelling up on Monday with Joel and S.O.J from South Wales .
Joel has a house in Leicester so we will be stopping there over night and heading up to Hawes the following morning regards Robbie

Rather than bother you for food, less than an hour from my door, I'll meet you all on the M6. Perhaps the petrol station where the east lancs road meets the M6?

Robbie - consider the M6 toll road if coming up from Leicester. M6 is horrid in the morning and for £3 on a bike the toll road is tonne up magic for it's entire stretch. Apart from where you have to pay, that is!

As you guys will probably all attend via the M6, could I suggest we meet at Starbucks near Clitheroe adjacent to the A59. There are toilets and a fuel station. A degree of privacy for Dobbi to "shoot up." Or top up as required.

If we met there at 11am to leave about 11.30am, I will devise a pleasant cross country route to take us to Skipton about 1pm for lunch at the pancake shop.

From there we have about one to one and a half hours ride through some spectacular Dales countryside to our overnight venue at Hawes.

I'll sort a route to take us via Ribblehead viaduct on a return route towards the M6 the following day.

Hi folks we are staying at hatherage (peak district) on Monday night rather than Leicester.
Shorter trip to meet up with you guys on Tuesday morning in Clitheroe.
60 miles rather than 130 regards Robbie

Just a bit of footage shot today by my son with his drone on one of the routes we will ride.
I hope you enjoy the short clip and it whets your appetite.

A few miles further as we topped the moor travelling towards Hawes I spotted two shadows travelling up the valley towards us, below the height of our road. I just got stopped and grabbed my phone to capture these images.
