    Don't think I went over 80

100+? only if i'd pushed it off one of those impressive cliffs!

Be careful ytc1... quips can sometimes come back with a backlash!

Also for his generosity (breakfast and coffee for us all).
Joel , what can I say?
How difficult can it be he said ?and he just went for it .
Got half way across and then went down like a sack of spuds.
With an audience of 10 plus hikers,Jean,Heath ,SOJ and myself .
His leg was trapped under the bike.
He was yelling at us to get the bike off him we started walking across the ford
Watching us must of been something like Eddie the eagle doing an impression of robin cousins.
Heath came to help and went flying and ended up on his back.
It was like walking on ice literally .
We managed to free his leg after several attempts to lift the bike.
This is when it got realty tricky as we started to try and lift the bike up.
All of us plus the bike start sliding down the Ford .
Heath jammed his foot under the front wheel and we finally had a bit of stability.
Next we managed to get the side stand down so we now had a bit of control.
SOJ suggested pushing the bike forward.
I over ruled him ,if we did that the stand would keep springing back up.
So we inched it backwards with the stand down and finally back onto dry land ,drama over ,very little damage to the bike .
Joel ended up with a sore leg but nothing to serious and it was a lot better the following day .
This was s first trip for SOJ he loved it and can’t wait for the next one .
Ounce again thank George you’re a star regards Robbie

Thanks all for the great trip recently.
George thank you for arranging and breakfast , awesome.
Good to see you all again always fun.
Thanks everyone for getting the bike out of the water it was pretty dodgy just walking in there, I appreciate it. Fair play it was tough going and I wasn’t much help.
Jean you should have got at least one photo lol.
Heath I hope you were ok after I think I am sure I saw you horizontal in the air at one point.
I am fine, a bit sore and still have some hefty bruising , damn that bike is heavy lol ... on the wallet too 350 quid.
We will always remember this trip something to laugh about after and hey what’s a few bruises.
Catch up soon AQUAMAN ....... love it lol

    I need a hover bike

10/10 Joel! I think you were bold as brass for giving it a go!

Next year will be Shropshire/ north Wales arranged by me, and I'll make sure there are not fords to contend with!

    Go easy!

The watching local judging panel however awarded Heath top marks for both dive difficulty and execution.
He is the 2019 Gayle area diving champion. Congratulations.

I would like to thank my sponsors and family for all their support in achieving this prestigious award. And of course none of it would have been possible without aquaman!
