You going to fashion some covers for the headlights? They don't look all that aerodynamic. Beautiful bike though. Be interesting to see some dyno curves.
    Bikes:
    2007.5 Tuono-Black, with 1102cc's of micah's badness!
2012 Griso-Silver and black, Agostini pipe, some carbon bits.
2006 Vespa GT200-bitubo suspension all around, Malossi big-bore, head and cam, Akrapovic pipe, all put together by Micah.

gone 2002 Caponord-Oyster gray (as faithful as a hound dog)
gone Futura-Red (on the AF1 showroom floor. Get some.)

The more I learn about people, the more I appreciate rocks.

Are you able to swap out the front hugger to one that comes down farther and doesn't catch the air like a sail; Or does Energetica want you to leave the aesthetics alone for the most part?

Thatís an at the track swappable part if needed. The RSV4 steering damper is now on, just had to make one special stud to adapt to the Energica lower triple clamp. They use M8 holes on outside edges, Aprilia M6 holes....so an RS250 exhaust stud was turned into this, an M8 to M6 stud....having a lathe is awesomeness!

Street testing commenced, dyno tomorrow before lowering the bike so as not to scratch the carbon belly pan. Introducing our guest rider shortly, suffice it to say she has the bona fides to go fast if anyone does!

If you want to show how miserably slow an un-aerodynamic version might be Jude and I will happily fly over at our own expense and I will selflessly volunteer to don the 'Sausage Suit' for one last time just to prove that no matter how dedicated you are an old, fat, idiot can spoil it every time!

Really. I think this is brilliant! You blokes and blokesses are going to be around when this technology becomes both the norm and the future! Remember when the people with horses and single action steam engines said internal combustion engines would never catch on? Neither do I! Not even I'm that old? But it happened.

We don't have an importer or dealer in Oz. I'd crawl seven miles over broken glass to stick matches in someone's turds to be at the cutting edge of fun like this.

Go for it guys. Go hard! Fat old people are depending on you!

17/38 final ratio should let it stretch it's legs Micah. Does the bike have any launch or wheelie control?

From what I've read it has the whole suite of 'Rider assists'. I'm happy to be corrected.

This bike, and no pre 2019/20 Energica without $3k upgrade package have any traction control, launch assist or what we think of as rider aids. Wheelie control is not really needed, the weight of the battery ensures that, I can make it wheelie, but that’s almost 3 decades of technique required. Hit 151mph testing yesterday at 9650 motor rpm....motor is supposed to go to 10500 so if the ecu is getting its limited data from ABS sensors...well, I have a fix for that coming right up, no time to do it like when wheels are off for sprocket swap lol.

Hoping to get the MotoE firmware update....more amps, SLIGHTLY higher armature rpm.

151mph? What would the range be at that velocity? Sucker kinda hauls ass.

I can cheat speed limiter if speedo based easily, cut out every other rib from the abs tone wheels...done. If itís rpm on motor based and can pull gearing Iíll either have to use MotoE mapping (still might) or just get the most I can out of 9650 motor rpm...

here is my RSV4RR steering damper conversion complete....thoughts?
