And the dream must have woken you up Andy - posting at 5am?

Count me in too. I did some thinking about this earlier in the year and wondered whether:
    - weekends of either 10-12 or 17-19 May
    - Llandovery
    - a route dropping first south and then arcing east across the hills to Presteigne and Knighton (have mapped some possibles already).

We are well served at Llandovery: finding campsites suitable for a bunch of us with good roads nearby and a pub even nearer is not as easy as I thought. There's a good little bikers' site further west, the VStrom lot have their annual bash there, or it's going up north again. There's a large site in Builth Wells which would serve as a good central point or there are more remote ones like the one we passed at the top of the Elan Valley. This is as far as I've got. Maybe time to explore pastures new though?

    Thoughts?

Route info removed to avoid confusion. Final .gpx files and a google map version will be posted here in the week before the rally weekend.

i am always keen to join my Capo brethren.

either of those weekends are ok for me so far.

i am happy to go with the flow on campsites but LLandovery offers us the most i think. pubs, restaurants, campsite etc..

I would be more than willing to put something together for a meet up/ride out however due to my location I think it would limit those who could realistically attend just for a weekend which is why Llandovery is such a popular location as it works for the vast majority of folk.

That said if there's enough interest for a smaller meet up for the more local lads and lasses I could put something together in addition to a more central meet in Wales.
