gen2 headers are oval with 4 bolts, whereas gen 1 headers are round with 3 bolts, so no

Yes you can, but as said Falcopops, it's necessary to modify the exhaust at the exit of the cylinder head. As well as the pick up, the eprom, etc ...

OK, so he's probably made up 2 adapters to mate the larger bore RSV cans to the falco headers but does anyone recognise the short exhaust can hangers?

    Gen 2 exhaust is different.

Its only worth considering if your fitting gen2 heads.

    There are fitment problems.

The front header fouls the oil cooler frame and needs massaging with a big hammer to clear.

The rear header needs cut and rewelded to bend away from the shock.

Yes you can you’ll have to cut and weld gen1 flanges on, use a mille oil cooler pipework ,possibly space the oil cooler out to clear it , massage the rear pipe for clearance with a hammer , the left hand can will stick out further as in a gen2 the engine is offset by 5mm

All depends how long you have to do the project but it’s all do-able and has been done
please get in touch if you would like a modded collector, adjustable lock-stops or quick release tank and seat pins

That bike had an akra evo6 system fitted with gen2 heads

In that pic it would probably have had a gen2 system fitted

That sounds like far too much work for me, looks like I'll just have to get creative with my can to header adapters!
