    The original finish was clear anodised. What finish are you going for ?

    polished, but not overdone mirror polished.

    cleaned the gauges:




    bought a new rear wheel due to bolts being seized in the previous wheel, I tried getting the out and ruined the wheel in the proces:

    This must be costing a bomb lol.

    Are you going for a lithium battery ? i love the weight saving and the self check button letting you know if the battery is fully charged, and they are protected if they lose a bit of power, so the battery wont fail like lead acid batteries....

    I have been going back and forth and that, it involves buying a specific charger aswell.

    I've had lithium batteries on 4 bikes, they have never gone wrong! Every lead battery has gone wrong, the yellow ones expand, the other ones refuse to charge after a couple of years, the battery manufacturer usually guarantees 3 year life, yet the shop and the manufacturer always walk away, saying wrongly stored, etc etc.
    Lithium all the way for me, prices are dropping yearly, and they seem to have more punch ( my ( now sold gen2 rsv factory ) is known for charging and electrickery failure always started ( the sprag clutch fails if the battery is weak ) !

    thanks for the advice, my rs50 back in the day consumed it's share of batteries aswell. My BMW's never failed to start, I only need to charge them in the winter.

    Back from powdercoating, got some more OE parts aswell but forgot to take a picture


    Wheels and brakecalipers are getting powdercoated, nuts and bolts are getting zinc plated.

    I was just going to suggest that even if running stock cylinder and piston get squish .8mm...but that kit already assembles VERY close to perfect on squish.
