    Ken's RS125

    Hi guys,

i'm new here, when i was 16 i had a rs50 poggiali black, I kept it for 9 years and sold it 4 years back. After a Kawasaki GPX600R, BMW F800R and my current BMW S1000R the urge came back to own an RS once again. I wanted to build my perfect RS so bought a rather sorry looking Tetsuya harada RS125.

    2nd owner
    10980km
    unrestricted version (22kw)

Took it home, started restoration and modification...

    I owned an Aprilia RS50 when I was 16.

Im now 31 and been slowly restoring a Harada RS125 similar to you.

to get it looking like the above bike, costs a lot, and afterwards do you dare to use it the way it was intended ?

I'm going all the way, it's not going to be used often and will only be used on sunny and dry days. I'll still be using my S1000R the most, I bought the RS125 more for nostalgic reasons and because i love 2 stroke.

    some refurbished stuff:

Degrease, sand a bit with fine sandpaper, paint with motip bumperspray black. Others can just be cleaned up with some degreaser and plastics restorer like auto finesse revive.

I'm not going to go all OE, the engine might get some modifications and the paint won't be original either
