2007 Aprilia RSV Bol D'or for Sale

Up for sale is my 2007 Bol D'or. I purchased this bike in February of this year and had it shipped from Utah. It was on consignment there. Bike currently has 10,146 miles on it I had only ridden maybe 500 miles since. I had hoped to upgrade the rear shock to Ohlins and also add a steering damper. In a vain effort to try and retain some of my youth, I bough this bike with those hopes. The reality is my 42 year old back and knees just can't do the race bike thing anymore. I see something more upright in my future. I took the bike out for a spin on Monday to try and talk myself out of it; but this bike is not for someone of my vintage. LOL. Has fresh tires, new fluids, aired up to 41psi rear and 36 ps front, full tank of premium gas and a half bottle of seafoam, and sits on a charger in my garage. Other than the Akro slip-ons the bike is stock. if you have any questions or concerns call or text me at 713-494-7524 or shoot me an e-mail at robert@akersfirm.com. My asking price is $6,000. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for looking.

Good looking bike! Was this version just a special paint job or are there other differences compared to a regular RSVR?

It’s essentially a regular RSVR, only difference is the paint scheme. I had intended on making it as close to a factory version as possible.

It never fails. I would be buying this if I hadn't just bought a KTM RC8R!

    I feel your pain, brother!

That Bol D’Or is so beautiful...

After years and years of sport bikes, I traded my RSV4 (a phenomenal bike) for a Bonneville T120 this fall.

It’s still fun, and the Bonnie is plenty fast up to about 70 mph. You’ll probably want to upgrade the rear shocks, but give one a try!

I'm struggling with that right now. I love my RSV4, but I find I ride less these days and I feel like that might be because of the sportbike riding position gets more uncomfortable year after year. I've been toying with buying a Tuono.

I must be one of the lucky ones. I find the position on the RC8R even more comfortable than my R6. I'm 64 years old.

I also feel at home on the sportbikes, mainly the Mille, it is very comfortable for my 51 y/o 6'1" self.
