Are you kidding? This is much better than the comments from some of the previous guys trying to race the Ape. It sounds like Ape are making good progress. Or maybe CJ is just getting started.
If CJ can't get the Ape going fast enough to torpedo some of the fast guys I don't know who can......
    Just kidding.

Agreed, The factory should worry less about comments in the media, focus on building a better bike. Meanwhile Gigi is over at Ducati chuggin away with an even more potent GP19 according to
    Danillo.

smith got the ape to 319. so it has the power to get to honda/yamaha speed, just not the traction to lay it down out of corners???

I am gunna put it out there and say that mm will win two more titles with Honda to equal the hated ones record. Then jump ship to another bike. Im gunna say Suzuki or Ducati. Yuall heard it here first.

I’d like the ape to be successful as well, but if it had some positive form it would shine when being raced in the wet. Look at Ducati when the hated one was on it. Up towards the front when wet going backwards when dry. Aprilia seem Togo backwards in wet or dry conditions.

idk about that. obviously, there is something we don't know. they (mostly one) was looking just fine in r1 until?????? so what was that? is it treacherous so the rider said eff this? or what? watch that first part of the wet race again. it goes.....and then it doesn't. or isn't made to.

    Another iffy day for testing.

Love that after an hour or so of the other riders being out that Marc cuts 8 tenths +- on his third lap on the medium option.

Funny seeing Roscoe and Vinny sandwiched by Franco and Pecco currently.

Anyone taking bets on Ianone not finishing the 2019 season with Aprilia?

Agreed. I started a thread flaming him early in the season, but I'll eat some crow, and say that he has grown on me a bit, and is doing a far better job overall.

He sure as hell does not seem very happy currently! Reality is setting in.

Apparently Iannone had a couple of crashes today but sounded a little more optimistic about the bike when speaking with Simon once they get the bike more dialed in to his riding style.

He did the same hypno-frog thing again with the camera, though not as bad as when he did it at Qatar.

He sure has moved from a championship contender bike to an also-ran funded by bananas very fast.

Frustration must bubble under. Well, chin down and towards new disappointments CJ.
