Sorry to hear that you are thinking of moving the old Capo on....your bike is a well modified bike that will please whoever buys it I'm sure.

But they are heavy bikes...my 1150RT feels lighter!!....I have problems with my right ankle, seeing the specialist in Bristol next week to see if anything can be done to improve it... in fact one of the reasons I got my KLR650 as it's so easy to manoeuvre around compared to the Caponord.

I know someone who sold on a Kawasaki z1300 back in the summer, as it was getting too heavy for him to move around the garage let alone ride it....makes you wonder if the value of some of the older heavy bikes will fall in value as they only appeal to a reducing older generation who are getting frailer as the years pass by?!!

Touch wood my Mother (97 in January) is still in good health, both mentally & physically giving me the freedom to take holidays etc, but as an only child it is on my mind that she'll eventually need my help & I'll have to take on the role of looking after her...fingers crossed that she continuous to live a full & active life.

Hope it all works out Geoff.

Hey! I resemble that remark! It pisses me off to hear it, but that's because it's true.
