Piaggio BV 200. One day good one bad

I have a 2003 BV 200 the vacuums fuel pump was leaking and replaced. Also replaced lines with 1/4 inch and cleaned carb. Replaced vent foam. New idle jet and valve adjustment. I moved slide needle from very lean top of the needle to less lean bottom and there is no comparison on the performance as it bogs under throttle when lean. Problem is fuel screw open to 2 and 3/4 turns and yet one day it won’t run and am not sure why. Automatic choke is extending as she warms up. Could it be happening too soon or bad connection? The fuel filter is. It stock and there is space in the filter. Fuel does not poor out when fuel line removed from carb to check flow. Thought maybe Intake manifold perhaps has some small leak that shows itself more when cold and fuel has not built up in the line. Was going to replace. After market Mallosi air filter. Bike runs as if still not getting gas. Help, driving me little crazy.

You might try posting on Modernvespa.com as this is a common engine on some Vespa scooters.

I did, as the line in has an arrow for the flow and the vacuum has a P for the pulse. The bike also does run but inconsistently.

Iv bottle Gravity feed it . wen this is done are all problems gone? till bottle runs out ? if so youve a fuel or fuel volume issue . try a keihin ruckus np50 elec pump about 14 bux see if that clears up the mess it did on my scarabeo 150

Could it be a compression issue? It does fine when sitting and cold then when riding it suddenly bogs. Thanks for the help!!

take down the fuel and the vacuum hose
suck on the vacuum hose, and hold it, if it looses vacuum its up for a replacement (use only the original diamether hose)
if the fuel dosnt come out when you suck undo the tank cap, if it then starts to poore fuel then you have a tank ventilation problem (almost always clogged breather system)
also when you see the fuel going fill up the carburetor start it up and see if runs ok. if it does you will need to replace some faulty part of the fuel system.
tie all hoses with zipties especialy the vacuum line so you dont loose the vacuum.

Also use only original air filter and check the idle jet for clogging.
It can clog then you will experiance a lean running condition.
