Anyone owned both DD12and new DD9?

Hello. As the title says. I like the power of the 12 but Aprilia claims this new 9 engine is new animal much better than the old minus 35+/- hp. Is it just the power that seperates them? I would like to hear from anyone who has OWNED not just rode there buds bike a few times. Ive hit the search bar but no info im looking for. Should i source the old 12 or the new 9. Give it to me str8. Thank you all in advance.

If you're worried about power, get a 12. The 900s are as heavy as the 1200s and have a good deal more shove in the midrange than the 750s, but not much more up top (same cams, heads etc.)

I'm holding out hope they bring the 1200 engine back into service...

Thank you for the reply. I really want that 12. That thing is a monster. I don't know why they are scarce. I can't find any anywhere. Not even used. I have only found about 5 online. The ones i found are clear across the country. Im in California. I think ill hold off also maybe they'll be available for 2019. Fat chance.
