    Capo specialists closer to home

As i have previously posted the bike has not been running well for the last year or so. Funnily though after new pipes last year the fuel consumption has been pretty good. I wonder if anyone in Germany, Netherlands, denmark or Sweden has a specialist close by. I have now tried 3 or 4 options around here in Norway and one in sweden, but they all hint at guess work, or "try this ". I may yet have to bite the bullett and head over to England next year, but mainland Northern Europe would be a better option, if anyone has a suggestion or 2.

Hi Greg, hope you are keeping well.

Deefred in Sweden would likely be your man I'd suggest. Super helpful and always offering sound advice.

Talk to stanleybobly on this forum. Or go to roke motors in Mijdrecht, they know Capos well, but don't do custom remaps or read this forum. We could even plan a Dutch Capo meetup with all 5 of us

    Hi Greg,

I was in London yesterday, I work away from Canterbury, I only see it in the dark this time of year!! Did you stop there?

My mother suffers with the same condition so I know exactly what it’s like. Well done for trying to keep going. She just needs to regulate how much she does and getting plenty of rest. Not so easy when you have to work, she doesn’t fortunately but I sometimes wonder if that’s worse. She finds it quite debilitating and frustrating that she doesn’t think others really understand how it affects her because she ‘looks’ ok so there is an expectation that she therefore is ok. She used to overdo it all the time and pay the price, she’s much better at recognising the lead up now and managing it but she finds socialising and being around people particularly difficult.

    cheers

exactly as you have written, my situation has more or less come down to stress situations, meetings at work, being in noisy places. to boot i have had uric acid issues and quite a few joints being attacked. But its not cancer, and as youve mentioned i look healthy and well.

i shall see if anything turns up around here, and get in touch come spring time. Its still in use, this problem turned up over a year ago, with grants map. While i dont think mapping is a problem, neither did grant last september, it is worth while hooking it and see what comes up. Although the lumpy running at low revs is always there, it does vary from day to day.
