Rare Bimota DB3 Mantra FS in SoCal $7500

"Tuono doesn't want to gently take your hand and guide you on a trip, it wants to rip it off and run away with it! I always get the feeling that to ride a Tuono you have to be a real man, prepared to fight it every step of the way, where as on the Triumph you can have an off day and not be left feeling inadequate"

Boy, the Mantra is... well, an acquired taste. Kind of like sardines.

As a collectible bike, the Mantra is kinda cool.

On the other hand, I don't know if I would ever want to be seen riding it around.

Certain bikes are worth a lot of money, the 600 (Black Pig) MV Agustas from the 60's spring to mind, together with the huge Munch Mammoth. I'd slot the Mantra in there somewhere. If I could buy one and make money on it a year or two later then fine, I probably would (if I had the dough), but otherwise I wouldn't be seen dead on one.
40 odd powered two wheelers over 40 odd years. Currently in the garage are a 2016 Tuono V4 1100RR and a '79 Honda CB550F
