Gen 2 Tuono to Dorsoduro 1200

Hi recently sold my 2008 Gen 2 Tuono after a very long ownership and always liked the look of the Dorsoduro 1200.
Have the option of a reasonably priced 2011 Dorsoduro 1200 totally standard with 8500 miles on it, trouble is it will involve a ferry and 4 hrs drive to the dealer. This is the only one for sale close to me.
My main concern is the fuelling as I hate jerky on off type especially trying to hold a constant speed.
Can anyone who has went from the Tuono to the Dorsoduro give me a comparison, really liked the tuono once I changed the gearing to 15/42.

    Cheers

Since you have had no reply - Not the exact comparison you are looking for, but FWIW I have owned a 04 gen 2 RSV and a 13 Caponord1200. The fuelling was much smoother on the RSV. Aprilia and Ducati really seemed to struggle with emissions regs from about 2010 to now. I have tried a couple of KTM's though and found the fuelling very smooth. Personally I wouldn't buy without try, however inconvenient that may be. I have owned two Aprilias with the Rotax V990 and would rate it above the 1200 motor mechanically, although the 1200 does sound good being a 90 degree engine and has more bottom end pull.
