    Great American Adventure

Couple of founding members of Bats are riding across the USA!
Unfortunately we won’t be riding Aprilia RS50’s this time, but I’m sure it will be fun still!

Completed a lap around the USA and it was amazing! Nearly 11k miles and 6 weeks of adventure!

Special thanks to Steve at AF1 for giving us a grand tour when we were in Austin!
    Steve’s Awesome Aprilia!

The shop working on another sweet Aprilia!

Man if there was an AF1 nearby, I would be there all the time!

Finally got a round to mapping out the route we took on this ride and it almost looks like a Bat! 30 different states visited on the trip!

Nice. Too bad I missed this, but you went nowhere near my house, anyway! What the heck were you riding? The Versys?

Sure wish I could visit the fabled halls of AF1. Steve has installed the AF1 fork kit on both my bikes. Did you get to meet Micah [insert bowing smiley]? And if that's not a TZR 3MA right next to the legendary RS50, it sure looks like one.

We may be riding your way when we do an Alaskan adventure. I bought a Honda NC700 DCT for the ride and sold it after for what I paid.

Didn’t meet Micah, but Steve was really awesome! He even gave me an old RS50 sales brochure he had on his desk! Not sure what the Yammie was.

Shiii... do it, man! And pick me up along the way. My guilty secret is an FJR1300, all big and comfy and quiet and reliable... in other words, not a 2T [forehead slap].

True that. But I'd like to think that those 2T madmen at AF1 would lean towards a TZR. :-D

I'd guess the 250. Not an FZR400. They all came with dual headlights. I've had four of them.

It might be a 250 but the fzr400 came with a headlight like the one in the pic as well.....
