Ducati Xdiavel S.... added to the stable :)

Well, today I could not pass on this 400 miles on the clock 2016 Xdiavel S.... I was thinking to get an Hypermotard SP in September but, this at $14.5k and after I test rode it. I knew I had to get it.

I'd kinda like one of these, but I'm small. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to move it around. Nice machine though, congrats.

    Cheers

I am 5'7" it fits me perfectly.... the Hypermotard on the other hand I would had to stand on one foot at a stop, because I was on literary on my tip toes

I did test road the Hypermotard and I like it... But, this after a 2 blocks into the test ride I knew she had to come home...... the only draw back on this is that I won't be able to track it and the Hypermotard was... Oh well, life compromises.

Supersport power in a laid back cruiser config! I spent two full days worth of riding on them and once I got over the initial awkward feeling of the forward controls I had a blast. You can go all day on these and oh yeah, skipping potholes with a nice throttle whack on sport mode isn't bad either!

Going from wanting a Hyper to getting a Diavel is very unexpected but I definitely get it, ergos make or break a bike for most.

The Diavel fits a 240/45ZR17 Diablo Rosso II specifically made from Pirelli for the Diavel

Always liked those but also wanted to turn them in large sport naked, foot pegs and seat where they belong.
Fend of mine has one and drives the hell out of it.
Most open circuit faster than a hyper too..

PS donít like the rear wheel, to much Chopper style. Paint it or so.

The engine on this thing at high rpm's is super smooth and take off... the Hypermotard it vibrates just as hard at high rpm's..... very happy with her.... now I just need to take care of the 2 recalls it has ( Brembo master & rear wheel pins)

    thanks, I am already

She just need 2 things imo... a linear rear spring and of course the exhaust... I am getting the Arrow slip on it has the same lines as the stock one witch I like... + the Arrow is $1200 cheaper than those Termis am not too fan of them.

nice bike. I was on a 2013 diavel prior to switching to the Tuono, I was on the fence as to whether I should buy the Tuono or go with a xdiavel.

    Congrats

    Ok...

I have being loving my XDiavel S too much

today I took my beloved RSV4 out for a spin after almost a 5 weeks riding most days the XDiavel. The Aprilia felt totally alien and uncomfortable that if I dint know that I love this bike I would not ride it anymore.

    Wow!
now, I understand why a cruiser or street fighter rider won’t touch a sport bike.... I am almost worry that if I ride the XDiavel I won’t like sportbike riding.... and I love my race track riding...

    culture shock for sure....
