'18 Tuono Factory, front brake vibration

    Hello all..

I have been dealing with front brake vibration from the 2nd-3rd ride on the bike.

I was hoping it was just brakes bedding in and this would go away, but no dice

Has anyone else experienced the same?

Bike has 523 miles.. vibration has been present since 20 miles on the bike.

Vibration is obvious any where from moderate to medium high brake pressure... no vibration when braking "hard"..

bead blast or sand the rotors and pads....then re-bed in

pads leave lots of material on rotors and yours built up unevenly early on...maybe the very first bit of pad wear deposited real heavy in one spot. Some repeated heavy hard braking runs might clear it off without sanding....get them rotors/pads good and hot.

    Do what Ed suggests.^^
If that doesn't work get a magnifying glass!!

My wifes Ducati did the same, tried sanding the discs, scuffing the pads to no avail.

I finally went over the discs with a magnifying glass & spotted a small piece of sinter material (copper colour) from the brake pads had welded itself to the disc. It was only about the size of a grain of sand & I could not feel it with my finger tips, as it was closer to being embedded than raised.
It took a fair amount of force with a fine pick to remove it from the disc, but that was what solved the issue.

I had a bit of chatter on mine, It might not be the right thing to do but I flipped the pads and chatter gone...
