+1 for mounting it up in the nose. I have the rectifier and the TC module up there.

Anyone mounted it here but with an I2m? Wondering about emissions interfering with the dash

Guys, thanks for all the input, attachments, and pics as each are very helpful. End of the month I'm planning on doing the bodywork swap, I have the bracket to relocate the rectifier to the right side (after removal of the evap canister) and I'll locate the second electronic module to the OEM stay (as Sidi did with the rectifier). Not that additional pics are needed, but I'll chronicle this bodywork swap so if anyone has any requests, as it pertains to this task, I'll gladly take pics of your interests.

    Cheers

ID:	386730Al’ In the original position, these are Motoxpricambi fairings where I slotted some cooling on the inner fairings to increase airflow over the rectifier. Works perfectly

I got a set of the newer style MotoXP fairings, with the three piece upper rather than one piece. I haven't installed them yet, but one cool thing I noticed is that the fairings have a slot where you can reuse the plastic mounting bracket from the OEM fairings and keep the rectifier in the original location.

Would there be any heat risk to having the rectifier tied at the front behind the dash w/ a xenon projector? Like, right in front of the rectifier is gonna be the back end of the projector assembly for example.

I'm building my headlight tomorrow finally and I purchased a rectifier bracket just in case but it looks like a pain to take the rectifier from being nicely tied to the dash lol.

    3Cells43 & Sidi9000,
With relocating both units to the upper stay, did you have to use an additional wiring harness to allow the change of location? If yes, is that part number COE14136? Something different?

    Thanks in advance.
