    No, the ECU does the TPS (butterfly / throttle body) calibration at every key on unless interrupted. It does it every 150th key on regardless.

    The handle calibration (throttle grip sensor) is intended to be a one time deal and is stored in the ECU. You need to force the ECU to run this one using a tool like Axone or Guzzi (IAW) Diag.
    Since potentiometer values drift slightly over time, due to material aging and atmospheric changes, it makes sense to do this one with the major service as well.

    That's OK we will use the Diag fer the handle calibration and to also fault find a check I can and am able to do at home ,which also makes it damed handy for remote dwellers that have no nearby service ,win,win.
