2012 Clutch - Replace or Upgrade?

    Hi guys.

Noticed a bit of clutch slip at the track on my RSV4, she's at 35k miles ish so I am expecting the clutch plates need changing.

Any brand recommendations? Any to avoid?

Or should I look at an upgraded slipper clutch for the price differential? Seen a second hand one for 250 so not sure whether to go for it or not.

    TIA!

Replace with stock frictions and steels.
Remove the anti judder conical spring, washer and narrow friction, install std friction in its place.

    list of [arts you'll need:

    2- 893780 driving disk
    8- 893782 driving disk
    9- 893783 driven disk

Cool, thanks for the advice! What's the benefits of swapping out the narrow friction for the Std? Longer life?

Life experience with many bikes has taught me to go OEM with clutches!

    Haha, I like your style.

OEM kit on AF1 is like $405 or so, I think Barnett or EBC is under $200? Let me know if it works!!!

Will let you know how EBC clutch does when I try it. I went through OEM clutch in 1 race weekend. I replaced with OEM but have EBC ready as replacement

What bike are you riding? What do you think is causing the clutch to burn up? Just curious as I’ve done 3 race weekends plus 2 1/2 years of track days on my 10’ with no clutch issues.
